We said our goodbyes to Cassie and Lily.  They are settling into their new home.  However, it will be time for some other sweet babies to leave soon too.  We do still have some kittens available, so please check and see if you want to give a forever home to one of our babies.

The time is coming when kittens will be leaving our cattery.  We love all our babies so much that it will be hard to see them leave.  However, it is comforting when they are placed in loving homes.  Cassie and Lily are from Impossible's F litter.  They will definitely be missed, but we are happy that their owners will keep in contact, as we like all of our extended fur families to do.

Hello!!!

   We have been super busy here at Nadezhda Siberians.  There is alot of exciting news to share.  We added a new family member, named Kender's Believe's the Impossible (aka Impossible).  She came from Kenders Siberians, located in Arizona.  We decided to show her, as well as our own Bella, at a CFA show here in the Houston area.  She was a dream to show!!! Completely laid back!!  We are thrilled with our newest addition.

    Kitten news...  We have always been blessed with our main queen, Olesya, and her wonderful mothering skills.  She is truely a phenominal mother.  It had been over a year since her last litter, so the time came to breed her again.  We planned to breed her, and then a week later breed Zoya.  All went well.   Olesya delivered a gorgeous litter on Sept. 20, 2011.  Zoya delivered a beautiful litter of 4, on Sept. 30, 2011. 

    Sometimes mother nature (or Zoran) has additional plans.  Impossible and Zoran mated, and on Oct. 5, 2011, she was rushed in for a C-section and her kittens were delievered.  Due to the anesthesia ect, she had a rough start in motherhood.  Olesya jumped right in to help.  Impossible had 6 beautiful kittens, but sadly, we lost one baby.  Impossible and Olesya now co-parent together...   We have pictures of our new liters loaded onto our facebook page.  (Nadezhda Siberians)  There is kittens available.  Please contact us with any questions reguarding our available kittens....

   It has been a while since we updated our website.  We have been taking a break from breeding our Queens and letting them have well deserved rest!  It is hard on them to produce such perfect kittens!  We have had some new additions to our cattery, which we will update on here very soon.  We also have some exciting news, which we are sharing below.....

     In the meantime, Zoran has been a busy boy!  We have again partnered up with our friends at Pendraig Siberian Cats to create an extrordinary litter....  We have mated Champion Cica's Zoran Yaroslavovich Black of Nadezhda to Forestwind's Gemma Sultanovna of Pendraig.   Both of these cats have excellent type, and very sweet, loving personalities.  

    You can see pictures of Gemma on Gemma's page .   Gemma comes from a long line of well titled cats.  She has an excellent build, and was picked to have her portraits shown in The Cat Fancy Magazine (the Siberian issue in May, so be sure to look for her!)  She is tested and negative for HCM and PKD, and is a healthy girl. 

     Zoran is the heart of our cattery here at Nadezhda.  Daily he entertains us and brings us total joy.  He is a very sweet, and loving boy, full of intelligence.  He is also from multi-champion lines, and has done well in shows himself. 

    Pendraig and I believe this is going to be a phenominal typed litter, and are super excited to see the promising type of kittens, as well as the rainbow of colors that Gemma and Zoran are sure to produce.  Pendraig is a Natural rearing cattery, and feeds a Species Appropriate Diet of raw, as we do here, too.  We enjoyed having Gemma come for her visit and we will be updating on the progress, as Gemma is due anyday!

        How many of you want a beautiful and loving Siberian cat or kitten to call your very own for Christmas, or the New Year?  

        While we here, at Nadezhda Siberians don't currently have any cats or kittens available at this time,  Cica Cattery does!!!  They even have some tht could be ready by Christmas!!!!!   I can personally attest to the quality of their cats, because it is where my cats came from!  Cica has imported many traditional Siberian cats, and worked hard to widen our gene pools to ensure the health of our wonderful breed.  They have many multi-champion lined cats.    Please Contact Maria at Cica Cattery and inquire about her beautiful kittens who are ready and waiting patiently for their furrever homes.  I will post pictures of some of the available kittens soon, but in the mean time, contact Maria for more information about the cats and kittens she has available.

     As it currently stands, our C litter is reserved.  We are waiting for 1 final deposit which is in the mail, and on it's way.  We also met with a potential buyer today, and she got to meet Zoran and Chaos.  She was enamored by his personality.  He was so at ease in a new place, and playful.  Of course he thought the greatest thing there was the large mirror in the corner, so he could admire his reflecton!  He had to see what all the fuss was about, and he definitely agreed!!  I am so pleased and blessed with the kitten's future homes.  I look forward to many years of wonderful updates, as I have been blessed to get in the past from our other buyers.  When our kittens leave our home, it is almost like having one of our children go away to college.  It is heartbreaking for us, but we are excited to see how they will grow and enrich the world around them.  We have been so proud of our past "graduates"!     

      We will update soon as our kittens go in for microchipping and neutering.   We are also still waiting on our professional pics, so we can share them with all of you.  Until our next post we wish you great joy and lots of headbutts and purrs!!

   Today we tok our C litter for a vet check up!  All 4 boys were given reports of glowing health and tempermant.  They did well on the trip there, and purred and interacted with our vet and her employees.  They didn't even get upset during vaccinations!  Our kittens were weighed at their appointment also.  The average weight for a Siberian kitten is 1 pound per month of age.  Our kittens are a little over 3 months old, and their weights range from 4.6 lbs to 5.4 lbs.  I would say they eat pretty well!!   They will soon go back for another checkup, and eventually neutering....  (shhh!!!!!!  Don't tell them!)  

    On a different note, we are still waiting for the photograher to send the pictures taken of Bella and Zoran at the CFA show, so w can pick our poses we would like.  I am excied to se them as they were done differently then our other professional pictures in the past.  Keep an eye out for the pictures, hopefully coming very soon!!

We are proud to announce that Nadezhda's Bella Zoranovna Black, a girl from our "B" litter, (2nd litter) has made CFA champion at her first show as an adult, even though she is just 9 months old!  We are very proud of our beautiful girl, and how well she handles showing.  We are also thankful to all of the judges for their encouraging feedback on Bella.

    On day 2 of the show, we not only took Bella to show, but also her father Zoran!  They were competing against each other for grand points.  It was very interesting to say the least....

    I am excited and can't wait to get the pictures we had taken at the show from the photographer, Blue Bayou.  This is the same photographer that took Zoran's first professional pics, and now has also takens Bella's first pics, and pics of them together. I am like a kid at Christmas waiting to see how they turned out.   I do know Bella behaved like a perfect model, and the photographers had alot of fun with her.
